Grand Teets...
Aryn, I just wanted you to know that you are one greedy little girl. You are just like me... you love food and you love to eat. I have watched you over the course of this weekend and you have eaten up some stuff! You might be a pint sized little thing, but you can certainly pack some food. We went to the mall yesterday and your mother and I had bought these caramel pecan cinnamon rolls and immediately when you saw us pull the boxes out, you started getting excited. It was also not much of a surprise that you moved right next to your mother, as she opened the box. (I guess you know who usually will feed you) You love to eat a big bite of food and then you walk away kind of dancing, with a smirk on your face. Your eyes light up as you chew all that food with those eight front teeth. But as soon as that mouthful is gone, you will head right back to your mother, like a little bird, waiting for the next worm!

Jared,
I love you so much son, it's ridiculous. You are my first born and only son. You are such a great kid! I watch you everyday, how you have this amazing personality...in so many ways you are very different from me. Yet, in some many other ways, you are so much like me. Right now you are about 3 1/2 years old. You are soooo smart. Your mouth is smart too... (what a shocker that's not) You get that honest from both me and your mother. You use grown up phrases all the time... lately you have saying things like "Geeez" and "Stop it, I'm serious!" (you got that one from me, I am sure) You told Aryn that she was getting on your nerves the other day...now that was funny! You love attention (no surprise there either) You are always telling me stories in the car about the funny things that you have seen on your cartoons. I don't always know what you are talking about but it makes me laugh anyway to see you so tickled over your tv shows! Usually, you'll tell me something that one of the characters has said and then you'll say, "Daddy, that's funny..." then you wait for me to reply... once you hear me laugh, then you laugh.
I love to see you laugh. I love that you are happy. It brings me great joy to see you enjoying your young life. I go through all sorts of things in the course of a day and to see you playing with your toys and talking to them and singing to them (completely oblivious to any problems or circumstances) helps me to relax and enjoy the moment too. You remind me of all the times I sat and played with my toys and during those moments, felt like life couldn't get any better than that.
